About
Welcome to Waber Ranch Creations
I am a mostly self-taught lapidary and metalsmith. My first memories are rockhounding in Arizona with my family when I was around 2 years old. I cut my first stone around the age of 8 with my grandfather guiding me. It wasn’t the best-looking stone, but through perseverance and practice, I have been able to hone my craft. I continue to self-collect when I am able and strive to create unique pieces that can be enjoyed by all. I provide custom services and allow people to “create your own” where they can trace the shape of the stone they want, and I will cut and set to make a one of a kind piece for them.

Rockhounding is in my blood. I have collected for as long as I can remember. I began cutting stones in earnest around 25 years ago and after taking basic silversmithing classes, began setting my stones in fine and sterling silver about 4 years ago. I set only what I cut, starting out with the rough rock and letting the stone tell me what to do. This allows unique opportunities for exploration and enlightenment.
